We made history on Nov. 4 by electing Barack Obama as our new president. That is so monumental and amazing. Our first black president, and the only candidate who can really help our country out of these terrible times. I was so proud to be an American the moment I found out he had won. Having said that.... What The Fuck America.
What is it going to take for people to open their eyes and hearts and finally see what is going on. California, Arizona, and Florida all voted to ban gay marriage. How can this happen? How can there still be so much hate and bigotry towards homosexuals? And the icing on the gay-hating cake, is that Prop 2 in CA passes! People give more a fuck about the animals that will become their dinner, then their family, friends, acquaintances, and coworkers. It todays world, everyone knows someone who is gay. And whether you like them or not, how could you look them in the eye, and say, "You are less of a person then me." This is just simple fucking knowledge. You don't pass your views and beliefs on anyone, and especially on an entire state! Separation of church and state anyone!? I mean, besides religion, there is absolutely no argument against gay marriage.
You may think its disgusting, but that doesn't make it wrong. Honestly, the high divorce rate should disgust you more then two people in love getting married. I'm so heated right now, im not even making sense. It's just absurd that this is even an issue. Hopefully one day soon I can come back here and delete this post, because things have changed. But for now I don't even want to think about it.
If you voted yes on proposition 8, I hope you fucking rot in hell. And that comes from the bottom of my homosexual heart. <3
