Eminem is Coming Back ...Yawn

This doesn't even deserve a post, but whatever...

It’s the return of Slim Shady! Ending a four-year break from music, rapper Eminem says he may release a new album this year. “I’m concentrating on my own stuff right now – just banging out tracks,” Eminem said in a recent interview on Sirius satellite radio station Shade 45. The rapper, 35, will continue to produce for other artists on his label, Shady Records. “The more I keep producing, the better it seems I get. I start knowing stuff, learning the boards like the back of my hands.” Eminem may have shelved his professional life since 2004’s Encore, but he’s stored up a lot of personal material for his next album. In 2005, the rapper entered rehab to treat a dependency on sleeping pills. In 2006, he re-married his ex-wife Kimberly Anne Scott, only to file for divorce three months later. His mother, Debbie Nelson, who famously sued her son for $10 million over alleged slander in his debut The Slim Shady LP, has written a memoir titled, My Son Marshall, My Son Eminem, to be released in November. “I do truly believe that Marshall will be back,” Nelson writes in the book. “I’m sure he’s biding his time, waiting for the right moment, and when he does return, he will be bigger and stronger and more successful than ever. I know my son, and he just doesn’t give up that easily.

Travis Barker and DJ AM In Critial Condition

DJ AM and Travis Barker are both in critical condition at the hospital after surviving a plane crash last night at 11:53 in South Carolina. The two were reportedly passengers on a private flight that took off from Columbia, SC, en route to Van Nuys.

As far as we know, Travis Barker has been burned from the waist down, and DJ AM’s face has been severely burned. They are both being treated right now. They are the only two passengers who survived, including Barker’s assistant on Meet The Barkers, Chris Baker, who just recently got married and has a new baby.

DJ AM and Travis reportedly survived the crash by jumping out of the door of the burning jet.

The Five Points Association has released a public statement.

The Five Points Association is deeply saddened this morning by the plane crash tragedy that occurred at the Columbia Metropolitan Airport last night. The association sends thoughts and prayers to the victims of the accident and their families.

The Five Points Community is offering the fountain area in Five Points as a place for those in the community to express their grief for the victims of this tragedy. Candles will be available to honor those in the crash and the fountain area will be available for the public at 6:00pm tonight.

DJ inTrouble for Britneys Womanizer Leak

Adam Sevalia, a 107.5 The River radio station presenter, is hot water.

The radio DJ, who is responsible for leaking 40 seconds of Britney Spears upcoming new single Womanizer, has been suspended from the radio station for illegally playing the track during his show.

(KIIS and Z100 are the only two radio stations that have the right to play the track on September 22nd. Other radio stations will only be able to play the track on October 7.)

107.5 The River will have to pay a whopping $250,000 charge to JIVE Records for leaking the song.

Oh please, it's not that serious. It was just 40 seconds. And unless you heard it straight from the radio, all you got was a raggity 40 second clip.

why so serious?
